One of my favorite subjects to paint are pets...here are an assortment of pet portraits featuring man's best friend.

Flower painting in several different ways

This is my most recently completed oil piece. There are these beautiful white flowers at my parent's house down in Florida, with orange-pink stems. When I was looking at the flower bush in person, I though the contrast of white, green and those orange-pink stems would create a great painting. The first photo is the beginning stages of the piece, which I think creates an interesting composition by itself. The following images are the final piece in several different positions.
