Old piece revisited

I found this old piece I started several years ago while going through a box of supplies. It is a drawing of a friend's Boston Whaler, aptly named 'Blue' because of the light blue interior color you can see in the completed piece below.  I finished recently and was able to give it to my friend.  They love it and will frame it and hopefully hang it in their new sun room overlooking Casco Bay.

Reintroducing my art blog, robsworks.blogspot.com!

I can't believe I haven't updated this site since 2014!  So many things have happened in that time.  In particular, the Covid-19 pandemic which has sent most of the country into a stay-at-home isolation to prevent further spread of the virus.  While at home, I took the time as an opportunity to revisit a passion of mine, painting and drawing.  I work at my little drafting table in a small, free space in my apartment, and am inspired to create.  I also thought this was an important opportunity to update this blog site with some work I've produced since 2014, some very current stuff I've made while at home during the quarantine, and revisiting some old work that helps inspire new projects.  My new email address for the site is being simultaneously launched with the relaunch of this site, robsworks.blogspot@gmail.com.  Please contact me to discuss current work, commission projects and anything else that may interest or inspire you.  Thanks for your time and please enjoy the artwork! Love, Rob
